RCF RDNet

NETWORK CONTROL AND MUCH MORE
RDNet is a robust control network and a control platform for small, medium and large sound systems as well as complex installations. Based on a proprietary network protocol, RDNet provides intuitive control and monitoring of all connected devices / objects in the RCF audio system. Each device has DSP to address specific fpresets or changes of parameters to individual or groups of objects. A network user can change the level, delay, EQ (linear phase – FiR also) and other settings, including advanced subwoofer configurations. RDNet is not just designed for speakers – you can control parameters and routing of several RCF devices, such as digital arrays or amplifiers.

TOP-END ELECTRONICS
The amplifier has a built-in 32-bit low-noise DSP circuit, controlled via RCF’s proprietary RDNet network to handle soft clipping limits, RMS levels, polarity, amplitude, timing and EQ. All settings, monitoring and advanced features are available in the RDNet Networked Management software. The rear control panel adjusts input sensitivity, Low Cut, X-over, volume, bypass, deay and presets. The regulated power supply guarantees full power from 100 V to 260 V. The amplifier has a unique Vibrostop liquid aluminum panel for extra protection during transport.

HYPERVENTILATED SYSTEM
RCF manufactures these components to deliver the cleanest, most powerful and undistorted low frequencies. The cone consists of 30% carbon fiber, 20% fiberglass and 50% cellulose pulp. This special chemical composition is carefully developed to improve the robustness and stiffness of the cones and avoid deformation that leads to loss of efficiency. The 4 “inner / outer voice coil spins in a strong fiberglass shape and guarantees a more efficient cooling. It is reinforced internally and externally with Nomex which stiffens the overall structure for a better energy transfer between the voice coil and the speaker cone. To dissipate the heat generated by the powerful RCF engineers have developed the unique Hyper Ventilation system with very low compression.The cone is also water-repellent.

THE BOX
The speaker box is made of high-quality birch plywood with weather-resistant treatment. Several subwoofers can be stacked and are simple for a simple up and down rig. A stand cup on the top and side makes it possible to use the lower part in different configurations. The strong coating and the robust structure of the cabinet can withstand long-term use and transport, and the separate chamber for the amplifier guarantees the efficiency and reliability of the component. Transport is fast thanks to the detachable trolley set, a trolley with robust trip class wheels and a rotating cam mechanism
